Batusangkar, (SK)—MTsN 6 (Batusangkar) Tanah Datar yang terletak di pusat Kota Budaya Batusangkar menerapkan system tubler (tabung) untuk meminum air bagi siswa di sekolah, terutama dalam rangkaian menghindari sampah plastik yang berasal dari kemasan air minum.
Kepala MTsN 6 Drs.Sabrimen, MA dalam keterangannya kepada sabanakaba.com ketika ditemui di ruang kerjanya Rabu (29/8) menjelaskan, selain untuk meningkatkan kebersihan disekolah yang berasal dari kemasan air minum penerapan system ini juga dalam rangkaian menindaklanjuti himbauan Bupati Tanah Datar Irdinanyah Tarmizi tentang pentingnya system tubler di sekolah.
Dikatakan, penerapan system tubler ini sudah kita lakukan sejak bebeapa waktu lalu, melalui sosialisasi kepada siswa menjelang kegiatan proses belajar dimulai. Dengan kata lain, dalam apel pagi kita slipkan juga himbauan ini kepada siswa tentang manfaat menggunakan system tabung terhadap kesehatan maupun terhadap keberrsihan lingkungan sekolah.
“Alhamdulillah, himbauan tersebut mendapat respon positif dari para siswa, dari sekitar 24 lokal siswa yang ada di MTsN 6 Tanah Datar ini, 80 persen diantaranya sudah membawa air menggunakan tabung minuman dari rumah,” kata Sabrimen menambahkan.
Ia yakin, dengan penerapan system tubler ini manfaat yang dapat diambil didalamnya tidak hanya sebatas menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, tetapi yang lebih penting air yang diminum lebih higynes lagi, karena jelas air dibawa dari rumah dan bukan air dalam kemasan yang ada kalanya masih diragukan kebersihannya.
Menyikapi tentang prestasi sekolah, Sabrimen mengatakan sebagai tetap ada, terutama dalam memperingati HUT RI ke 73 Tingkat Kabupaten Tanah Datar. MTs.N Batusangkar berhasil meraih juara I untuk lomba menulis artikel atas nama Zaratul Jannah yang diselenggarakan oleh Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Tanah Datar di Pustaka Gunung Bungsu Batusangkar.(WD)
